Start with Friendship- Michelle enjoys and knows how to keep a great friendship. From the beginning, she just enjoys to reveal her unique opinions to her friends. She shares with friends what she's seeing and what she's thinking. She says she is not a good speaker, but her speeches effect more and more people.
Blog- By the support of her friends, she started to write blogs and present by many media ways, such as Facebook and Twitter. The new technology - social network helps her to build a number of followers. Each day hundreds of people read her blogs and leave comments to her. She is always modestly to accept their ideas, suggestion even critical. So she creates an attractive space to share her ideas with people.
Become a public figure- The blog and her independent ideas made her become an host. She got a stage which she could present her talent. That stage actually is every one wants to have. People follow your idea and are effected by your ideology.
The different personal style- She thinks the most helpful factor is her different personal style. She naturally uses her personal idea and individual style to effect audiences. Each time of interview and report, she makes her own questions that she wants to know and interest, then report them to the public.
Helps raise funds- Now she is a host of weekly talk show called Swirl Radio that targets the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. The Asian- American local luminary in San Francisco has also hosted San Francisco's annual gay pride parade and helps raise funds and awareness for a variety of local and national LGBT causes. She thinks it is a very big part in her life.
